These Terms govern your use of the ShareEazy mobile application and website (shareeazy.com), operated by Plumora Technologies ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use ShareEazy.
ShareEazy is a record-keeping tool for shared expenses. It lets you create groups, log expenses, split them between people, and see the resulting balances.
ShareEazy is not a bank, payment processor, money transfer service, lender, or financial adviser. We do not hold, transfer, or process funds. When the app records that a payment was made, it is recording something you told it — the actual money moves outside ShareEazy, between you and the other person.
Balances, splits, and settlement suggestions are calculated from the data you and the people you share with enter. They are only as accurate as that data.
Where expenses are recorded in a currency other than a group's currency, amounts are converted using third-party exchange rates that are refreshed periodically. These rates are indicative and may not match the rate applied by your bank or card provider at the time of an actual payment.
ShareEazy is a convenience, not an authoritative accounting record. You should not rely on it as the sole basis for settling a dispute or for tax, legal, or accounting purposes.
ShareEazy is a shared tool by nature. Anything you add to a group — expenses, amounts, descriptions, comments, receipts — is visible to the other members of that group. Anything you add to a direct expense is visible to the other person.
Other members can add, edit, and delete expenses in groups you share, and a group member can delete a group along with its expenses. Consider who you share a group with accordingly.
Invite links grant access to a group to anyone who has the link. Treat them like a key: share them only with people you intend to add, and regenerate a link if it may have been seen by someone else.
Do not use ShareEazy to:
You keep ownership of everything you put into ShareEazy. You grant us only the limited permission needed to run the service — to store your data, display it to the people you share it with, and back it up.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising. See the Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.
ShareEazy is provided free of charge and on an "as is" basis. We aim to keep it running and correct, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Where a change would materially affect how you use the service, we will make reasonable efforts to give notice.
You can delete your account at any time from the app: Account → Delete Account. Outstanding balances must be settled first, so that people you share groups with are not left with an incomplete record.
Deletion anonymises your personal information. Expenses you were part of remain visible to the other members of those groups, because they are also those members' records — we cannot remove one person's side of a shared expense without corrupting everyone else's balances.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plumora Technologies is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of ShareEazy, including financial loss resulting from reliance on balances, splits, or currency conversions shown in the app.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above will change, and continued use of ShareEazy after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
